Privacy Policy

This policy explains how iQnekt processes personal and business information when providing our services to users of the iQnekt app.

1. What Information Do We Collect?

To deliver the iQnekt service effectively, we process information about you—and, if you’re a business account user, about your business. The specific types of data we collect depend on how you use the app.

  • If you’re using a business account, including for non-commercial purposes, your use is governed by our Business Terms & Conditions.
  • If you’re a general user of the iQnekt app, this Privacy Policy applies.

Things You and Others Do and Provide

  • Information and content you provide: We collect the content, communications, and other data you submit when using our services. This includes when you sign up, post content, comment, message others, or engage with businesses. Our systems process this data to provide, personalize, and improve the service.

  • Your usage: We collect details about your interactions with our app—what content you view or engage with, features used, actions taken, accounts you interact with, and activity duration and frequency.

  • Activity of others: We receive and analyze content and communications others provide about you when they use our app—for example, comments on your posts or direct messages.

Device Information

We collect data from and about the devices you use with iQnekt—including phones, computers, connected TVs, and other web-enabled devices—and combine this information across your devices to improve your experience.

For example, we may personalize content on your laptop based on activity from your phone, or measure engagement across devices in response to an ad.

Device data we collect includes:

  • Device attributes: Operating system, hardware and software versions, battery level, signal strength, storage space, browser type, installed apps and plugins, and file names/types.

More Device Information We Collect

  • Device operations: Information about behaviors performed on the device, such as whether a window is active (foregrounded) or inactive (backgrounded), and mouse or touch interactions. This helps us distinguish between humans and bots.

  • Identifiers: We collect device-specific identifiers, including device IDs, to support analytics, and personalization.

  • Device settings data: Information you permit us to access via your device settings—such as GPS location, camera, or photo access—is also collected when enabled.

  • Network and connections: Includes your mobile operator or ISP, IP address, language, time zone, and possibly your mobile number.

  • Cookie data: We collect information from cookies stored on your devices, including cookie IDs and preferences.

Information from Partners

Businesses, advertisers, employers, post publishers, and other partners may provide us with data. This includes:

  • Information about your activity outside of our app—such as device data, websites you visit, purchases, ads you’ve seen, and usage patterns of their services—even if you don’t have an iQnekt account or aren’t logged in.

  • Data from third-party providers who are legally permitted to share information about your online and offline activities, including purchases.

We require all partners to confirm they have lawful rights to collect, use, and share this data before providing it to iQnekt.
